How to wear strappy dresses when you don’t like your arms

With autumn just around the corner, it’s time to prepare for cooler months, in fact my favourite time of year, instead of wearing the lightest cotton dresses the time has come to layer up. Yay!
One easy transition is to keep wearing your floaty summer dress and add a knit over the top, shown perfectly by Hussein Chalayan’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection. Soft and willowy with a relaxed knit and even boots. I’m feeling this look, with the warm earthy tones, but still with bare legs to keep from looking too wintery.

In simple terms it’s a mannish sweater over a ladylike dress, an easy flow into layering and probably sitting in your wardrobe as we speak. If not try Hush and Zara below.
So before you buy new, keep the summery dress the same, add a medium weight knit and dust off your boots. (Just before the heatwave returns!)
