Learn to Love Clothes Again

May 27, 2018When life is busy, as it has been for me recently (hence the lack of blog posts!) I need easy clothes options. So I tend to keep my base pretty simple, like jeans and shirt or my favourite paper bag waist trousers, and then pull out one of my many lightweight jackets. If it’s a cool day the long sleeve layer is just enough, and on a warmer day they are neat enough to fold up and carry. One of the most important things is the fabric, cool and cottony is the best and machine washable – Yay! (opps, one is hand wash)
Pale blue winning blazer from Mango, on-line is so much easier to find what you want than in store. Machine wash.
More of a boho layer, and so pretty to bring out each summer.
Waisted khaki, perfect over pretty printed dresses to add a bit of tough edge, more shirt than jacket, note the name!
Simple edge to edge navy jacket, light and cardi-like. Add a pop of colour somewhere in your outfit.
Hobbs tailored but light and airy jacket, wear as a neutral with almost any colour.
If you don’t own one yet, they are everywhere, so no need to spend a fortune, layer over a pretty dress day and night.
Statement blazer by Anthropologie, gorgeous with rufty-tufty bottoms for balance. Hand wash.
It was a scorcher yesterday and chilly breeze today so hopefully you can layer up with ease to suit all temperatures.
Enjoy the journey K xx
